Join Australia’s leading nature conservation event to explore, invest in, and scale solutions that deliver climate and nature outcomes.

Climate impacts and nature loss are accelerating, but so is the momentum for action.

Across Australia, and our broader region, there is clear demand: uphold biodiversity commitments. Invest in solutions. Back the people delivering results on the ground. At the same time, innovative models of stewardship, investment, First Nations leadership, and cross-sector partnership are emerging, offering powerful pathways to deliver climate and nature outcomes together.

For over a decade we've convened our national conference and it has grown into Australia’s leading nature conservation event. We’re excited to return to Lutruwita/Tasmania for the first time since 2017.

Ahead of COP31 in Turkiye, the 2026 ALCA Conference (ALCA26) will showcase the powerhouse value of land conservation, and the diversity of people who steward nature on the ground, lead nature conservation efforts, and invest in its success. ALCA26 will build the case for land conservation as a core climate solution and a driver of economic strength and resilience – delivering climate mitigation and biodiversity outcomes, while playing a central role in achieving national and global climate and nature targets.

Registrations will open soon.
