ALCA's submission highlights the role of private land conservation in delivering both climate mitigation and biodiversity outcomes, and recommends that the Bill explicitly recognise nature-based solutions and private land stewardship. ALCA also recommends that climate adaptation planning frameworks support investment in landscape-scale conservation and restoration.
