ALCA's submission highlights private land conservation as a critical and underinvested climate adaptation strategy. ALCA recommends that the National Adaptation Plan explicitly recognise the role of privately managed landscapes in building ecological resilience, and that dedicated investment be directed toward landscape-scale conservation and restoration as adaptation infrastructure.
